Great tips for affirmations, but I would like to add a little more.
As a certified hypnotherapist, I have written a number of articles on affirmations, and the comments I receive back suggest that the worst problem people encounter is remembering to say the affirmations.
Setting aside the time to say them is useful, but if you have 'no time', then try recording the affirmations and playing them back to yourself (subliminal programming).
The other method I use is to get some 'post-it' stickers, and write the affirmations on the stickers. Then attatch theses 'messages' in high visibility places. I have one attatched to the top of my computer screen, and I estimate I see it over 100 times a day! Other places would be the fridge, telephone, front or back door and wallet or purse. That way you will see, and read the affirmation many times a day.
I hope the tips have been useful, and good luck with the affirmations.
