The first thing you need to know is how often Internet users search each keyword; this tells you the popularity of the keyword.  Next you determine how many web pages already fill the niche. Finding a keyword that gets a lot of searches but has a low number of web pages already in the market is the best way to choose a niche that will make you money. The final step to choosing your niche depends on your competition, the web pages that are already serving the market.  Take the time to research what is already offered, follow their links and check out what each is offering. To succeed in the niche, you will need to find a unique angle that will make your business valuable.  If everyone else is selling the same cookbook, for example, creating your own would give your business a product that can’t be found anywhere else.
